Jordan Rosenfeld is a Senior Director for Imperium Consulting Group, based in the Bellevue, Washington office. He is a licensed CPA with over 48 years of accounting experience, 40 of which have been focused almost exclusively on the construction industry. His expertise includes surety and fidelity claim investigations, the preparation or defense of contractor assertive claims and preparation of termination for convenience settlement proposals. Jordan's prior work history includes over 30 years as a partner of a highly respected Pacific Northwest construction-oriented consulting group (The Sutor Group), 4 ½ years as Accounting Manager in the Claims Department of Reliance Surety Company, Controller for a Seattle mechanical contractor and working at CPA firms. Jordan works extensively on surety claim investigations, forensic accounting investigations and termination for convenience settlement proposal submissions, and leads the Imperium Consulting Group surety and fidelity claim engagements.

  • Working with most of the large surety companies in the United States, including (but not limited to) Travelers Bond, Liberty Mutual Surety, Arch Insurance, Zurich North America, Great American Insurance, International Fidelity and Chubb on surety claim investigations.
  • Preparation and/or defense of contractor assertive damage claims including claims valued up to $50 million. Rosenfeld has been engaged as an expert in over 100 construction litigation matters, providing testimony and qualified as a witness in both state/federal courts and arbitrations in over 30 adversarial hearings as well as others with deposition testimony only.
  • Preparation of termination for convenience settlement proposals on federal, state or private contracts. Rosenfeld has been engaged by contractors to prepare, submit and help settle numerous terminations for convenience settlement proposals, including projects as large as $1.3 billion.
  • The “audit” of fidelity insurance (employee theft) claims submitted to insurance companies.
